We’ve been wanting to create this video since we ended our road-trip in December. This is the order in which we visited every State, Province, and Territory in Canada and the United States as controlled by YOU, the followers of alexandluke.com.

No question, the favourite follower award this week goes to Kim and Greg (and Chelsey and Kasie too) of Calgary. They have let us camp out in their lovely home ALL week and continued to nurse us through this bout of plague we seem to have been stricken with. And not only that, they are excellent movie-watching and board game-playing companions who make us home cooked meals, let us borrow their car in Burt’s time of need (we are happy to announce that Burt Reynolds is now up and running with four good tires), and let us play with their dogs whenever we want. It has been a hard week health-wise, but we could not have found ourselves in a better place to be sick than in the loving home of Kim and Greg.

Starting tomorrow we will be traveling from Alberta to Canada’s Northwest Territories (NWT). We’re traveling North without the aid of a directional vote, as Alberta holds the last road we could possibly take to this region of Canada. When Alberta won the last directional vote it unintentionally brought NWT a victory as well.
We’re really excited about the 24+ hours drive to Yellowknife (the capital of NWT), and we hope you enjoy the content we create both on this long drive and once we arrive in NWT. Between wildlife, the northern lights, and the wonderful people we hear occupy this part of the world, we’re sure the Northwest Territories will not disappoint.
If you have any suggestions, know anyone, or want to see something in Yellowknife or other parts of the Northwest Territories leave a comment below and we will do our best to visit!
